Building the bonzomusic Delta electric guitar

This page is dedicated to a close-up into the construction process of the bonzomusic electric guitar model named “Delta”.

The Delta is an electric guitar made for blues, jazz, country, classic rock and pop music.

The body and neck are made of a light tone wood called okoumé. The top of the body is made of maple. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. The nut is made of bone.

One volume for each pick-up allows the blending of the two outputs. Moreover, they permit to control the feedback and to produce the ideal output preferred by the musician. A master volume controls the final output.

The Delta has two unique artesanal pick-ups. They are two bonzomusic P90s made with Alnico V magnets and enamel-covered AWG 42 copper wire. They give back medium output (around 6k) and a natural and precise sound. The output can be increased to a resistance of 8,5k if needed.

The sound of the Delta is warm and well defined thanks to the okoumé body and the maple top.

The Delta has an almost-empty body with two big tonal chambers (see pictures below).

The neck-through-body construction adds feedback and presence to the sound.

A natural finiture gives the Delta an elegant, simple and eco-friendly look.
